Today we heard from Carl Guttermann from the California Automobile Museum. Carl gave a history lesson of the museum which started as the Towne Ford Museum to present day. The museum has currently reached an agreement to buy their location and are raising funds to rebuild on their property.

Some of the cars displayed are: 2 of only 150 Ford Model K known to exist; a 427 Shelby Cobra, which is valued at over $250,000- it would be worth over $1M if it was restored. They also have a large selection of motorcycles on display.

Currently they have a special exhibit of 1968 cars and soon a new exhibit of Microcars will be on display.

Also if you are interested they will teach you how to drive a model T and let you drive one around their parking lot.
